Hi! My name is Milla Weber. I just turned 21 years old a few days ago. I grew up in France, and I currently reside in North Carolina with my husband, who is in the Air Force. I am studying Hospitality with no specific concentration. I chose to enroll at UNLV because I grew up in Las Vegas for 18 years, and the city has always felt like home. Being in the heart of one of the world’s top hospitality destinations, UNLV offers the perfect environment for my major and career goals. The university has strong connections to the hotel and tourism industry, giving me access to real-world experiences, networking opportunities, and a direct path into the field I’m passionate about.
Career Goals
After graduation, I aspire to build a successful career in the hotel and hospitality industry. I’m passionate about creating exceptional guest experiences and contributing to an environment where service and comfort are top priorities. My goal is to work in hotel operations or management, where I can apply my skills in communication, organization, and customer service. In the long term, I aspire to assume a leadership role within a well-established hotel brand or boutique property, where I can contribute to driving guest satisfaction, team development, and operational excellence.
Hobbies
In my free time, I enjoy staying active and spending time outdoors. Going to the gym is a regular part of my routine, as I value fitness and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. I also love playing basketball—it’s not only a great workout, but also a fun way to stay competitive and connect with others. Traveling is another passion of mine; I enjoy exploring new places, experiencing different cultures, and learning from each journey. Whether I’m hiking, sightseeing, or just relaxing in nature, being outdoors helps me recharge and stay grounded.
Industry Experience
I have work experience that has helped me develop valuable skills for the hotel and hospitality industry. I worked at retail locations inside Planet Hollywood, where I gained hands-on experience in customer service, sales, and managing fast-paced environments —all of which are essential in the hospitality industry. I also had the opportunity to work with Formula 1, where I learned how to adapt quickly, work under pressure, and deliver high-quality service during large-scale events. These experiences strengthened my ability to interact with diverse guests, stay organized, and maintain professionalism in dynamic settings.
